A 60-year-old MTA bus driver suffering a medical episode crashed into a Brooklyn Burger King early Thursday, police said.
The driver lost control of the bus and smashed into the fast food joint on Fort Hamilton Parkway near Dahill Road in Kensington about 12:10 a.m., cops said.
His two passengers, women ages 60 and 23, were not hurt.
“The bus started speeding up quick,” one of the passengers, a nurse, told PIX11. “You have to think quick on your feet and before I knew it … we [were] in the Burger King.”
The passenger rushed to the driver’s aid after the crash.
“I got out of my seat and I immediately went to him to try to help him,” she told the station. “He was moaning … I started CPR on him … then he passed out on me. But he still had a pulse.”
Medics took the driver to Maimonides Medical Center in critical but stable condition, police said.
The Burger King was closed for the night.
