Macy’s, Inc. is adding to its C-suite and changing its leadership structure.
Macy’s Inc. is shaking up its leadership team.
The department store retailer has announced that Thomas J. Edwards will join the company and become chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Macy’s, Inc., effective June 22. Currently, Edwards is the CFO and COO of Capri Holdings Limited, where he has led the finance, information technology and supply chain teams for more than eight years.
Before joining Capri, he was executive VP and CFO of Chili’s owner Brinker International, Inc., and has held numerous finance and operations positions at Wyndham Hotel Group, Kraft Foods and Nabisco Food Service Company.

Current COO and CFO Adrian Mitchell will be leaving Macy’s in the coming months. He will continue in his current capacity as COO and CFO through June 21 to ensure a smooth transition.
