MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A former employee at a metal fabrication company was arrested after he allegedly stole items from the business, according to the Mobile Police Department.
The MPD said that officers arrested James McDonald, 46, of Mobile.
According to a department news release, McDonald was arrested after officers responded to Myer Fabrication at 744 Blackburn Drive on Jan. 23 for a property theft report.
Officers said they arrived and met with the victim, who said a recently terminated employee had driven his pick-up truck to the location and had begun loading items into it.
McDonald was identified by police as the former employee and taken to Mobile County Metro Jail.
Jail records show that McDonald was charged with third-degree theft of property, first-degree theft of property, and third-degree retail theft of property.
